During my vacation Whitney Houston died in a hotel room at the age of 48. Despite the fact that I am SURE you are tired of the Whitney talk, I must give you at least ONE obligatory Whitney Houston cover. Here is the one I can tolerate the most. Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave doing his version of "I Will Always Love You". (Which is actually a Dolly Parton cover). Enjoy!

The people at G-Form have sent me the new Extreme Portfolio for the iPad and iPad 2. This case has protected iPads from 60 foot drops, from hammer attacks, and even...wait for it...and airplane drop!
That's all fine and dandy, but Jerry wanted to know if it could survive a real challenge...a real threat to the valuable electronic devices of the world...his children.
Jerry will give the iPad to his kids (4 and 10 months old) and over the next week he will pray that the G-Form Extreme Portfolio and it's incredible technology hold up against natures greatest foe...small children. Good luck Jerry...Good luck iPad!

Elton John once perfromed this with John Lennon. Here he is in 1974 giving tribute on his own on Cher's first sonny-less show. A Jerry-Oke for the ages! (Beware...it ends abruptly, but it is still AWESOME!)
In a very unified protest against the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) that Congress is thinking about passing, many of the most visited pages on the internet are participating in a blackout. The idea of SOPA is to stop illegal use of American copyrights, PIPA is to be able to track what websites each individual IP Address goes to. While that might sound good in theory, the enforcement would likely shut down websites like YouTube, Facebook and many other msjor players in the web world.
So in a sign of solidarity for those sites, nternet pages like Google, Wikipedia and Craigslist are ‘blacked out’ today.
This video is almost too hard to watch...but it's too funny to turn away. Are Golden Diamonds even real? Enjoy ~ Jerry V.
